Booking Terms

RESERVATIONS

Fitzgerald’s Motel is not affiliated with any booking company. Please contact us by phone or email for the property’s specific terms and conditions and to make a reservation. A two night minimum period applies to all bookings for weekends during Summer. One day’s room deposit required for reservations. We must know in advance the number of persons in party.

REGISTRATION

At the time of registration you must complete registration form. You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Fitzgerald’s Motel reserves the right to cancel, suspend or extend the stay at any time, with or without notice. If you have requests for specific accessibility needs, please note them at the reservation time when you book your room ( subject to availability and additional charges may apply). The property requires that the credit card holder’s name matches the guest’s name on the booking conformation and must be present upon arrival. We reserve the right to register or terminate your registration at any time at our sole discretion. If you do not agree with our policy, please do not access or use our services.

RATES

Our rates are honest, and we never overprice even if we think we could. This means that we keep rates as low as possible while still continuing to offer one of the best value services available in Wisconsin Dells. Also, we don’t charge resort fees or other hidden fees. Rates and additional information to be approved on the phone at the time of making reservation. No rates on line. Rates are changing due to number of persons in the room, season or weekends/holidays. Summer rates higher than of season. All rates quoted at the time of the booking shall be subject to change without notice. Once you have confirmed your booking and provided your credit card to hold the room, your rate remains fixed. Rates start from $59.00 + tax (12.25% in Wisconsin Dells) for 2 people weekday to $260.00 + tax (12.25%) family rooms during Summer. Seasonal rates apply. 10% discount for military personnel. We allow only maximum two people per bed.

KEYS

Keys are given once final payment is made. If keys are misplaced or lost while occupying the room will charge fee of $25.00. If keys cannot be located the guests are liable for the cost of replacement keys or replacement of locks. Only registered guests are allowed in the guest rooms and they’re allowed to use the keys as well.

ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES

Check-in time is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM unless arrange in advance with management. Check-out time is at 11:00 AM unless arranged in advance with management. If your room is guaranteed with your credit card, your reservation will be held until 6:00 PM. Full payment is due at time of check-in. Check-in age is minimum 18 yrs. Guests are required to show a photo ID at check-in. Accepted: Visa, Master, Discover and cash. No checks. Walk-in registrations will be accepted as space allow. No refunds. Upon departure please check the property carefully, as we cannot guarantee any items left behind will be found and returned to you. We take no responsibility.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your visit, please do so at the earliest possible time. No cancellation fee charged. We have reserved a room for you. Should you need to depart prior to your reservation end-date, you will be expected to fulfill your reservation commitment.

GUESTS ETIQUETTE

We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following.

Guests need to obey a rest time from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. After 10:00 PM, please turn your TV down and keep noise to minimum. If someone else disturbs you, please notify the office immediately, dial 608-253-1651. No illegal substances on the property. No spitting. No revealing swimsuits allowed in the pool. Children in diapers must wear swim diapers. All guests must wear normal swimsuits. Please watch your children. Pool available only for registered guests. No food or alcohol allowed in pool. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The price charge is for domestic use only and not commercial. Our rates do not allow for extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, repairs etc. We remind you, you are residing in a private residential area. Lack of respect to neighbors in the surrounding area, including excessive noise will not be tolerated. Violent, obscene, profane, offensive, inaccurate, false, misleading, hateful, derogatory, racist comments that threaten or defame any person or our business or irresponsible behavior not be tolerated. Fitzgerald’s Motel reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund as a result of reckless act, bad behavior or acting in an inappropriate manner. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property.

RESPONSIBILITY CODE

Vacation can be enjoyed in many ways. Regardless of how you decide to enjoy it, always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Observe all posted signs and warnings. Prior to using our pool, you must have the knowledge and ability to swim safely. No lifeguards on duty. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others on the property. Be safety-conscious. Children must be supervised at all times and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also staying at the Fitzgerald’s Motel. Ensure that all windows and doors are locked. Always use deadbolts, secure valuables, report suspicious persons or acts, never open door prior to verifying ID. Lock your car and remove valuables. Fitzgerald’s motel is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft or other causes. No cooking allowed in the guest rooms. EMRGENCIES: dial 911 from your cell phone which is your confirmation number to track, dial 9 – 911 from the emergency phone located outside at the end of the office building by the alley, dial 911 at the office.

Unauthorized distribution or commercial use of our web site is strictly prohibited. All Rights Reserved. Neither this whole website or any part of it may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or using it misleading potential guests, causing damage to our business success, reputation and trust without prior content of Fitzgerald’s Motel. For example, there is a big business in our city that illegibly listed our property’s name Fitzgerald’s Motel on their web site and also listed it with their email address instead of our email address (which should be fitzgeraldsmotel@yahoo.com). If you see something that is questionable, please let us know like did the guest who reported (to us) the above problem. We sincerely appreciate your contributions to the success of our business.

DAMAGES

The properties are rented to you in good faith and on the condition that you look after it as it was your own. Any damage, loss or expense incurred is a result of your breach of the Terms and Conditions whether reported by you or found by us be paid for and will be charged (the additional costs and you will be invoiced and you will be charged accordingly). Cleaning: All properties are cleaned after guests departure. We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if the property is left particularly messy or if the room is left dirty. This means that upon departure empty your garbage bins into the dumpster containers which are located at the end of the office building by the alley and leave the place neat and tidy. Rooms are completely non-smoking and if not respected a fine $300.00 will apply. We’ve to keep the environment where guests can be safe and still have fun with their families during coronavirus pandemic.

VACATING TIME

The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors should be locked. All keys must be returned to the office. All food must be removed from the fridge, all garbage to be put in the appropriate garbage bins provided. The property must be left in the orderly condition as found. Please report any damages, or problems detected with any appliances in the room so we can rectify before next guests arrive. To maintain an acceptable standard for guests we require that these conditions be complied with safety due to COVID-19.

PRIVACY

We respect privacy and confidentiality of our guests. We take the out most care to ensure that the personal information we obtain from you is not used in a way that you may be unaware of or not agreeable to. We will not disclose any personal information to third parties outside our business, our direct contractors, because we don’t use any booking company. All booking must be done on the phone (complying with the Privacy Act). We may disclose information when required by law to the extent necessary and in a manner that seeks to maintain the privacy of the individual. Fitzgerald’s Motel reserves the right to change this business Privacy Policy at any time and the changes will be posted.

You need to be aware of inherent risks associated with the transmission of information via the Internet. Fitzgerald’s Motel cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any personal information you submit to us. Accordingly any information which you transfer to us is transmitted at your own risk, however once we receive your transmission, we will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information. Fitzgerald’s Motel website may also be linked to websites operated by third parties. These links are meant for your convenience only. Visitors to those websites should refer to their separate privacy policies and practices. Your use of the links is at your own risk.
